Charles Taze Russell was such a Zionist he preceded Theodor Herzl, the Jewish pseudo-founder of the Zionist movement, in his Zionism. Interestingly enough, his Jewish fans are "proclaiming Mosaic Law for One World".

For some fifteen years, the United Israel Bulletin—estab-

lished in 1944 as the official publication of the United Israel

World Union, proclaiming Mosaic Law for One World and

stressing the biblical prophecies relating to the return of the

children of Israel to their ancient homeland—has published a

series of articles dealing with the prophecies propounded by the

late Pastor Charles Taze Russell pointing to the destiny of the

Jewish people.

Having preceded the founder of modern Zionism, Theodor

Herzl, in his espousal of the descendants of the Hebrew

prophets, Russell stood out at the turn of the century as one of

the very first American Christian Bible scholars to predict the

return of Israel to their ancient homeland.
